6-9 November 2023 | Atlanta, USA

19th International Conference on Urban Health

Growing Our Global Community. Driving Action. Ensuring Equity.

The International Society for Urban Health (ISUH) is delighted to invite you to join our 19th International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH) taking place in Atlanta, USA, 6-9 November 2023.

There is a growing body of urban health research and evidence, yet gaps exist in knowledge generation, translation, and application for urban design and health practice. Cross-sectoral collaboration and multidisciplinary training and action are needed to better bridge disciplines and better define urban health within a global context. The ICUH serves as a key convergence point to advance and support the generation, exchange, and application of urban health programs and policies.

The theme for ICUH 2023 is Turning Evidence into Impact: Urban Health as a Driver of Greater Equity and Social Justice. During this year’s conference, we connect a uniquely global network of leaders working to advance urban health to discuss how evidence can be translated into action and impact that drive greater equity and social justice in cities across the globe.

Join us as we unpack the mobilization of resources to support the management and development of health and equity supporting cities, today and for future generations.

We’ve gathered the world’s leading experts and minds to explore models of planning cities to support all ages, from 8 to 80 and beyond.

Working with leading researchers, urban planners, private innovators, investors and non-governmental and multi-lateral bodies, we will identify the most promising transdisciplinary solutions for combating disparities, addressing mental health, designing neighborhoods that optimally support comprehensive health, well-being and equity for all residents within the greater context of climate change justice and other pressing global agendas.
